 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion. HONOURING/ CELEBRATING A CENTENARIAN..... by Ada Enigwe


Ada UMUOKPU popularly known as Ada Enigwe on Saturday 10th July 2021 honoured/Celebrated a CENTENARIAN of our time; Madam Catherine Chidebelu of Umuaganam Sub family of Umuoga in UMUOKPU village Awka.


Madam Catherine was born in 1920(101) in UMUOKPALAERI village ENUGWU-UKWU nd is married to Late Gilbert Chidebelu Okafor of UMUOKPU village Awka.


Ada Enigwe was well represented by CHINAZA MANDELA, and in my entourage I had MR ZITEIFE OKOLI, ECHEZONA OBIORA and EDOZIE OKOYE


The Journey to visit Mama took us to her house at Ebe Ogidi square Umuokpu-Awka where we Met Mama with her Daughter and presented some gift items to Mama which ranges from a Giant sachet of DANO Milk, Big tin Ovaltine, a Pair of Abada Rapper and a white Envelope.


The CENTENARIAN is Popularly known as MAMA SHED


As u remember mama, Our Prayers is that u will one day be honoured and Celebrated a CENTENARIAN.


BLESSED IS THE HAND THAT GIVETH AND THE ONE THAT TAKETH.
