 EFCC Arrests Eight Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Uyo Operatives of the Uyo Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday May 2, 2024 arrested eight suspected  internet fraudsters in an early morning sting operation at Osong Ama Extension in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. They were arrested following credible intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet fraud.   Items recovered from them include, seven laptops; 13 smart phones; two wrist watches and one router.   The suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.

2023: Buhari Has Not Endorsed Tinubu, Osinbajo Or Any Candidate - Okorocha

A Former Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha has disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari has not endorsed any 2023 presidential aspirant.

Okorocha who appeared on "Politics Today" on Tuesday evening disclosed that Buhari has not revealed his preferred candidate or given his support to any aspirant yet.

He said; "If you know President Muhammadu Buhari, he is a general and you can't predict. He is so unpredictable, you can't predict what he will do. He might pull anybody by surprise.

"That's the military training that he has but anybody that goes there, i'm sure whatever he says is what he says to be."

"If anybody comes out to say that Buhari has endorsed him, the person will not be saying the truth".

Okorocha is also an aspirant seeking the Presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the upcoming 2023 elections up yet to obtain N100m form.
