 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. HEARTLAND FC EJECTED FROM HOTEL FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO PAY BILLS INCURRED BY MANAGEMENT OF HEARTLAND FOOTBALL CLUB. 


Heartland FC of Owerri players under lock and key in a hotel around MCC Uratta road Owerri North. 

The management of the hotel refuse to open gate for the players until the government pay them for the players food and hotel rooms fees. The players were seen inside the hotel premises stranded under lock and keys. 

The hotel management said Heartland FC is owing them approximately N700,000 thousand Naira for the player's food and hotel room charges. The hotel management also said that Heartland FC is also owing them another money for food and hotel rooms fees incurred by Heartland FC Queens of Owerri, over one million Naira few months ago.

The incident happened on Saturday morning 23 April, 2022 as the players were about leaving for their match against Wikki Tourist FC.
