 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. HEARTLAND FC EJECTED FROM HOTEL FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO PAY BILLS INCURRED BY MANAGEMENT OF HEARTLAND FOOTBALL CLUB. 


Heartland FC of Owerri players under lock and key in a hotel around MCC Uratta road Owerri North. 

The management of the hotel refuse to open gate for the players until the government pay them for the players food and hotel rooms fees. The players were seen inside the hotel premises stranded under lock and keys. 

The hotel management said Heartland FC is owing them approximately N700,000 thousand Naira for the player's food and hotel room charges. The hotel management also said that Heartland FC is also owing them another money for food and hotel rooms fees incurred by Heartland FC Queens of Owerri, over one million Naira few months ago.

The incident happened on Saturday morning 23 April, 2022 as the players were about leaving for their match against Wikki Tourist FC.
