 Atiku’s remarks on Lagos-Calabar highway politically induced – Umahi The Minister of Works David Umahi has stated that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s critique of the Lagos-Calabar SuperHighway is driven by cheap political calculations and ambition Speaking on Wednesday in Abuja through his Special Adviser (Media), Hon. Orji Uchenna Orji, Umahi accused Atiku of spreading misleading analogies to discredit the bidding process that resulted in the awarding of Section 1 of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project. Port Harcourt Court Sends Man to Jail for Impersonation

Justice P. M. Ayuba of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State has convicted and sentenced Nzebechi Precious Nnadi, to six months imprisonment for impersonation and obtaining by false pretence.

He was convicted in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, after pleading ‘guilty’ to one-count charge raised against him by the Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the EFCC.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
