 U.S Finalizes $20,000 Visa Bond Policy Affecting Nigeria and 49 Other Nations The United States government has officially formalized its visa bond policy, making it a permanent measure that could require travelers from 50 designated countries, including Nigeria, to pay a refundable bond of up to $20,000 before receiving certain visas. First introduced as a pilot scheme in 2025, the policy targets applicants seeking B1 and B2 visas, which are designated for business and tourism. Anambra State Government Continues Onslaught Against Illegal Structures, Shanties In Onitsha



Government of Anambra State has continued the demolition of illegal structures and shanties at Fegge, Onitsha.

The taskforce arrived Akunnia Ojote waterways at Fegge around some minutes past eleven am.

On arrival, it was observed that some residents around the area built on waterways which has over the time caused water to pass through wrong channels thereby destroying people's properties and lives risked.

Speaking to the press, some of the residents including Mr. Louis Mbanefo expressed happiness over government efforts to tackle the issue of flood in the area.

They called on government not to relent in the good work they have started.

Recall that the exercise commenced yesterday where many structures were pulled down in the resolve of the present administration to keep Anambra environment sane.
