 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System. Anambra State Government Continues Onslaught Against Illegal Structures, Shanties In Onitsha



Government of Anambra State has continued the demolition of illegal structures and shanties at Fegge, Onitsha.

The taskforce arrived Akunnia Ojote waterways at Fegge around some minutes past eleven am.

On arrival, it was observed that some residents around the area built on waterways which has over the time caused water to pass through wrong channels thereby destroying people's properties and lives risked.

Speaking to the press, some of the residents including Mr. Louis Mbanefo expressed happiness over government efforts to tackle the issue of flood in the area.

They called on government not to relent in the good work they have started.

Recall that the exercise commenced yesterday where many structures were pulled down in the resolve of the present administration to keep Anambra environment sane.
