 Family and neighbors mourn woman shot by ICE agent after making Minneapolis her home  Before she was fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer, 37-year-old Renee Good had just dropped her youngest child off at an elementary school in Minneapolis, the city she and her family had recently begun to call home. As Trump administration officials continued Thursday to describe Good as a domestic terrorist who tried to ram federal agents with her Honda Pilot, those who knew her remembered someone very different: a gentle, kind, and openhearted mother, wife, and neighbor. Good, her wife and her 6-year-old son had recently moved from Kansas City, Missouri, to a quiet Minneapolis neighborhood lined with older homes and small apartment buildings. LASG INVESTIGATES PALM AVENUE BUILDING COLLAPSE


The Lagos State Government is investigating the collapse of a building on 2/4 Oye Sonuga Street, Palm  Avenue, Mushin, stressing that whoever is indicted in the incident will be severely punished.

A statement signed by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Engr. Omotayo Bamgbose-Martins, after his unscheduled visit to the site of the incident,  said, that the four-floor building, which collapsed on Friday, is about 40 years old. 

He has also directed that the adjoining building be pulled down for safety reasons, adding that efforts are on to rescue those who might have been trapped in the rubble.

Noting that the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) and the Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory have been directed to unravel the cause of the collapse, Bamgbose-Martins informed that the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency is leading the rescue operations.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
