 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion. This is for Unizik Students, school will resume on 17th October, 2022.

"This is to inform staff and students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka that following the suspension of the strike actions by all the University Staff Unions ,the University Management has directed  that Academic activities in the university  resume immediately  in order to complete the 2021/2022 Academic  session. 

Consequent upon this,students are to resume Academic Activities with effect from Monday,17th October 2022".
