In a blog post that has now been published by many international media organisations, in an apparent well-coordinated public relations effort, Binance Chief Executive Officer Richard Teng made false allegations of bribery against unidentified Nigerian government officials who he claimed demanded $150m in cryptocurrency payments to resolve the ongoing criminal investigation against the company.  This claim by Binance CEO lacks any iota of substance. It is nothing but a diversionary tactic and an attempted act of blackmail by a company desperate to obfuscate the grievous criminal charges it is facing in Nigeria. WOMAN STABS HER BOYFRIEND TO DEATH IN NASARAWA 



The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested one Alice Mulak of Ungwan Gwari, Karu Local Government Area of the state for stabbing her boyfriend to death with a knife following a misunderstanding.

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Ramhan Nansel, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Friday, October 14, 2022, said the suspect was arrested by police operatives attached to Mararaba 'A' Division led by CSP Musa Babayola.

According to the PPRO, preliminary investigation revealed that the incident happened behind City Rock Hotel, Mararaba at about 0330hrs when the deceased and his girlfriend engaged themselves in fisticuffs as a result of a misunderstanding.

"Hence, the suspect was arrested and the knife used in perpetrating the offence was consequently recovered based on the directives of the Commissioner of Police, CP Adesina Soyemi," the statement read.

"The suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Lafia for further investigation and subsequent prosecution.".

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours.
