 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. ACTDA Boss Commences Movement to Recovering  Government Owned Lands

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA), Mr Ossy Onuko has vowed to recover every government land illegally occupied by land grabbers within Awka Capital territory.

Mr Onuko said this  at Agu Awka during the re-marking and partial demolition of some illegal structures erected by some individuals on government owned lands.

"We are resolute in our determination to restore and preserve the land administration system in Awka Capital territory, hence the movement l," he said.

The ACTDA Boss advised Ndi Anambra to always enquire the status of a land from relevant Authorities like  Ministry of lands, ACTDA and Physical Planning before purchasing any land, which he said wouldl curb wastage of their resources.

The team also went to Kamali close to Okpuno Awka where a structure obstructing access road was partially demolished and to Eke Awka Market to ensure that road traders there are conforming to the set standards of allowing free flow of traffic.

The Authority went in the company of men of Nigerian Civil Defence  Corps to maintain order, (MOI).
