 ‘Friend Of A Thief Is A Thief’, Defence Minister Warns Terrorist Sponsors The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (rtd), has cautioned Nigerians against aiding terrorists, insurgents, bandits, or other criminal elements, stressing that anyone who supports criminal activities will face the full weight of the law. General Musa made the warning on Saturday while speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day 2026 Golf Tournament held at the TYB Golf Resort and Country Club, Yar’Adua Barracks, Abuja. Actress Uzo Aduba expecting first child with husband Robert Sweeting;  debuts her growing baby bump on the Tony Awards red carpet

Nigerian-American actress, Uzo Aduba has revealed she's expecting her first child with husband Robert Sweeting.

The 42-year-old disclosed the exciting news on the 2023 Tony Awards red carpet on Sunday, June 11. 

The actress, who rocked an orange Christian Siriano, unbuttoning her coat to reveal her baby bump, confirmed the news to People on the Tony Awards red carpet on Sunday evening, while a rep also confirmed she's expecting.

'The happy couple is over the moon about their growing family and are excited to be parents,' an unnamed insider said.

She cradled her baby bump over the oversized matching orange pants on the red carpet.

She later announced her baby joy on Instagram, writing: 'What a blessing. My husband Robert and I are so happy to enter this next chapter together as parents. I am beyond excited. I get to be someone’s Mommy! I know as the three of us continue to grow, our only, ONLY goal will be to love you, little one. My goodness. Look what God has done. '

Back in September 2021, it was confirmed that Aduba and Robert Sweeting quietly tied the knot back in a secret New York ceremony in 2020.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
