 Thugs Break Into Mortuary in Nzhelele, allegedly stole equipment An elderly security guard was brutally attacked during a break-in at Luvhani Mortuary in Nzhelele, Limpopo, on Friday. According to reports, unknown suspects assaulted the guard with a pick handle and an axe. He sustained serious injuries to his head and legs and was rushed to the nearest hospital for medical treatment. The suspects allegedly stole equipment from the mortuary before fleeing the scene. Police have opened a case and are appealing to the public for any information that could help identify and arrest the suspects.

Actress Yvonne Jegede Denies Alleged Marriage To Ned Nwoko

Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has denied allegations that she secretly married Senator Ned Nwoko, the husband of her colleague, Regina Daniels.

On her Instagram account on Friday, she shared a video from a blogger who claimed she deleted the pictures off her page following her court wedding with Nwoko.

The actress denied the allegations, claiming that the blogger's claim was false and intended to draw attention to the blog.

She wrote, ā€œWhen many people tell you they know ā€˜somethingā€™ is happening or believe something has happened, you asked them how they got to know, they tell you they read or heard it from the Internet. 

ā€œOftentimes, they heard it from idiots like the person talking in this shameless and false post. How could you be this bold about falsehood? How can you lie so confidently? How can you intentionally tarnish peopleā€™s image and damage relationships all because you want to attract people to your blogs? 

ā€œThis funny post is evil and false in every intent. I wonā€™t dissipate energy fighting you. Karma is already dealing with your destiny because if you have one, you wonā€™t be all gas up about other peopleā€™s lives when yours is tattered.

ā€œHow does deleting my photos on my page give off anything??? šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø The effrontery to mention my son sef, I suppose give you one dirty slap.ā€

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. ā€œThe Appellant was set up.
