Asari Dokubo Is A Criminal, Economic Saboteur –Pro-Biafra Group, MASSOB Attacks Niger Delta Ex-Militant Leader Over Stand Against Kanu’s Release

A pro-Biafra group under the umbrella of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has attacked a former leader of Niger Delta militants, Asari Dokubo, for canvassing against the release of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

Dokubo after visiting President Bola Tinubu on Friday in Aso Rock Villa warned the President against releasing the Biafran Nation agitator leader being detained by the Nigerian government in the Department of State Services (DSS) custody.

Addressing newsmen after his visit to the President, Dokubo said, “His release would fuel impunity; during EndSARS, Nnamdi Kanu was walking free. What did he do? He poured petrol on the flames of EndSARS. Now, he has been caught. What of the people who have died? This is a criminal. He should face the law.

“Releasing Nnamdi Kanu is rewarding criminality and rewarding gruesome murder of innocent people. He should face the law for the actions and instigations he has carried out.”

Reacting to Dokubo’s statement, MASSOB under the leadership of Uchenna Madu, described his statement as a “ranting of a frustrated criminal.”

MASSOB SAID, “Asari Dokubo should be ashamed of himself, for biting the finger that fed him, by selling his conscience as an object of cheap sabotage against the collective interest of the Eastern region in order to get relevance from the federal government, he fought against and killed her hundreds of military and other security agents

“Asari Dokubo is the criminal, not Nnamdi Kanu. How can a man with illegal possession of General-purpose machine guns and hundreds of AK-47 call a man without a catapult a criminal?

“MASSOB wishes to remind Asari Dokubo how himself and his militant criminal boys destroyed and vandalized petroleum pipelines in the name of self-determination agitation for Ijaw people.

“Asari Dokubo asking Tinubu not to release Nnamdi Kanu is a direct exposure of the real criminal who should be ignored.”

The pro-Biafra group which stated this in a statement by its National Director Of Information, Comrade Edeson Samuel, said that “For Bola TInubu to have allowed Asari to sit in the conference hall of the state house to address the pressmen shows that the Government of Tinubu's administration is that of hooliganism and gangsterism”.

It continued, “Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not a criminal or an inconsequential saboteur like the Moslem perpetual slave called Alhaji Dokubo Asari.

“Asari Dokubo took up arms and waged war against government agents including some foreign expatriates. They were killed, kidnapped and maimed by Asari Dokubo's Niger Delta Militants.

“Government institutions and oil facilities were also destroyed by this unpatriotic element called Asari Dokubo, yet he is calling Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is on non-violence self-determination struggle for the emancipation of Biafra, a criminal.

“Asari Dokubo in his inconsequential bitter mind against Ndigbo thought that fighting against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is a prisoner of conscience in Nigeria will give him an easy access to government contracts from Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
