 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. Enugu Residents Turn Out En Masse For Peaceful March Against Mondays Sit-at-home

The city of Enugu came alive like never seen before on Mondays in the past two years residents of the state came out en masse for a a peaceful march against the Monday Sit-at-home which has been going on in the state.


The Governor of Enugu, Dr. Peter Mbah upon assuming office, declared that the state will not obey the illegal order which the mainstream Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has distanced themselves from.


The men, women and youths numbering over 5,000 walked the streets of the state in solidarity with their Governor, stressing that Sit-at-home is no longer funny.


Marching from Okpara Square to Eastern shop down to the popular Ogbete market, the residents said the state is bleeding while appealing to the residents to come out for their normal business activities.


They carried various placards with different inscriptions depicting their message.


“You enjoy overseas and punish us with Sit-at-home.”


“Enugu is Enough, say no to Sit-at-home.”


“Our mumu don do! No more Sit-at-home”


“We no longer meet up with our hire purchase because of sit-at-home.”
