 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. Tinubu's Minister: APC Chieftain Exposes Three Prominent Names that Were Removed From The List

The uncertainty surrounding the release of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ministerial list still rages on as it continues to take a new twist as the days go by.

The presentation of the newly appointed ministers which was initially scheduled to happen on Wednesday, July 25 was postponed by the Senate led by President Godswill Akpabio.

No explanation was given for the change of date.

In the latest development as far as the announcement of the ministers are concerned, three big names have reportedly been deleted from the list

Sa’adah Maccido, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in a tweet confirmed that former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, former governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje and former governor of Kebbi State, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu have had their names omitted from the list.

“Bagudu, Wike, Ganduje are all out of Ministerial list,” he tweeted on Tuesday, July 25.

Meanwhile, the Senate has finally announced Thursday, July 27 as the D-day for the unveiling of the much-anticipated list.
