 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. 2023 elections: Cardinal Onaiyekan slams Mahmood, accuses him of dishonesty

Bishop Emeritus of Abuja, John Cardinal Onaiyekan, has slammed the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Mahmood Yakubu, for misleading Nigerians and not being honest in the conduct of the 2023 elections.

The Cardinal spoke to newsmen on Saturday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, during the 10th anniversary celebration of the Jesuit Memorial College.
Onaiyekan accused Mahmood of not telling Nigerians the truth, when he knew things didn’t go well.

The cleric, however, insisted that the truth should prevail even as the opposition was challenging President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the court.

He specifically said, “We should refuse to agree that this is a country where certificates are forged and it is okay.

“We should refuse to accept a situation where elections are rigged and you are told to go to court. These things have consequences. Jesus says you shall know the truth and the truth will make you free. INEC should accept that they have a very heavy trust deficit.

“Nothing wrong with admitting that things did not go so well. If we don’t tell the truth, we will not move forward.

“When I heard Professor Mahmood on television, even yesterday, telling us that everything went perfectly well, I shed tears. He knows he was not telling the truth.”

The Cardinal maintained that he would keep praying for Nigeria.

“I am a religious person and I keep praying to God to forgive us and to show us the truth because if we tell the truth, things will move fast. Nigerians are wonderful and I still hope that things will move fast.

“Whatever the judges may decide, whatever courts may say, at the end of the day, the truth will make us free,” he added.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours.
