 El-Rufai to remain in custody as court adjourns bail application to April 14 Justice Rilwanu Aikawa of a Federal High Court in Kaduna has adjourned the hearing of the bail application filed by former Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, to April 14th. The bail application of the former governor came up before the court today. April 1. The court adjourned the case after listening to arguments from both the defence and prosecution  El-Rufai was arraigned by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on a 10-count charge bordering on alleged conversion of public property and money laundering. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The court ordered that he remain in ICPC custody pending the hearing of his bail application on the fixed date. The former governor arrived at the court premises around 9:00 a.m. in a black Hilux vehicle, accompanied by DSS officials.

"Sometime in 2013, I got a random "Hi" in my Facebook DM. I ignored it because at the time I wasn't in the mood for all that chitchat... 


“Fast forward to 2016, on one fateful day, I was scrolling through my DM because I was bored. I then decided to answer some messages and I bumped into this "Hi" I ignored 2 years ago, Lol. 

 I checked out his profile and he was easy on the eyes, a very handsome lad, then I responded. 


“From that time we began talking and it transcended from one conversation to the other. In the course of our conversations, we became Best of Friends, even though we both had separate relationships at the time. 


“Our virtual friendship grew so much due to consistent communication. We became inseparable.  We finally got to see each other for the first time in 2017, and subsequently, the bond grew even stronger. 


On my Birthday, 29th April 2019, He asked me to be his Girlfriend and I said 'Yes'.


“And on the same day this year, He proposed and I said a Bigger "YES".


“Now, I'm happy I did respond to that DM.”she said.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
