OGUN TRANSPORT MINISTRY ROLLS OUT TRAFFIC ADVISORY ON IYALODE ALABA LAWSON'S BURIAL

The Ogun State Ministry of Transportation has notified the general public, particularly the motoring public that Oke-Itoku junction inbound Sapon will not be accessible to traffic on Tuesday, December 5 and Friday, December 8, 2023.

A release signed by the Commissioner for Transport, Engr. The release further stated that traffic from Ake and its environs to Sapon would be diverted to Ijemo-Agbadu/Ake near Oke-Itoku junction, thereby temporarily converting it to two-way traffic for the duration of the event on each of the two (2) days as stated below:

Day 1 (Tuesday, 5th December, 2023, 2pm -8pm)

Day 2 (Friday, 8th December, 2023, 2pm-8pm)

It added that TRACE and security agencies would be deployed along the routes to ensure effective and integrated traffic management, to limit delay and traffic congestion.

The release appealed to members of the public and road users along the axis for their understanding and regrets any inconveniences, adding that the State government had assured that the measures put in place would minimise delay and guarantee orderliness.
