 Paul Ibe, Media Adviser to Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Releases Documents on ADC Leadership Resignations Amid Party Crisis Paul Ibe, media adviser to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has shared documents purportedly showing the resignation of Hon. Nafiu Bala as Deputy National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the subsequent notification to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, Ibe presented two key documents to counter claims by Nafiu Bala, who has positioned himself as acting or factional chairman of the party. The first is a plain-paper resignation letter dated May 18, 2025, from Nafiu Bala, resigning his membership of the Ralph Nwosu-led National Working Committee (NWC) of the ADC.  The second is a July 2025 letter on ADC letterhead notifying INEC of the mass resignation of the NWC to facilitate a leadership transition to the faction led by former Senate Presi...

Delta governor appoints Singer Harrysong as aide

Popular singer-songwriter, Harrison Tare Okiri, better known as Harrysong has taken to social media to announce his appointment by the governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori as an Executive Assistant.
Sharing the good news online along with his appointment letter, Harrysong reintroduced himself as he urged his fans and followers to address him as Honourable Superstar Harrysong.
Expressing gratitude to his governor, he appreciated him for entrusting him with the office to work.
In his message to the indigenes of Delta State, he told them to get ready to see him work.
He wrote: “Newly Appointed E.A (executive assistant). ENTERTAINMENT. To the Executive Governor of DELTA STATE RT HON SHERIFF F.O. OBOREVWORI. Thank you, my governor.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
