 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. Kwara State COVID-19 Centre Gutted By Fire 

The COVID-19 Centre, located around the Kwara state Government -owned Sobi Specialist Hospital, Alagbado, Ilorin has been gutted by fire. 

Radio Nigeria gathered that the fire was caused by an unidentified person said to have set an undergrowth around the facility on fire. 

It was also learnt that the fire later spread to the COVID-19 Centre ward. 

The incident, which was confirmed by the state Fire Service, recorded no loss of lives nor injuries. 

The Kwara state Fire service , Head of Department (HOD) Media and Publicity , Hassan Adekunle, said the swift response by the Service prevented major damage at the COVID-19 Centre. 

In his remarks The Director, Kwara State Fire Service, Prince Falade Olumuyiwa, advised residents of the state to prioritize safety. 

He also urged the general public to be more careful in their day-to-day activities, adding that they should desist from sending under-aged children to fetch water in domestic well.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
