 TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE ALONG BENIN–SAPELE ROAD Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Operation WABAIZIGAN, have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a targeted operation along the Benin–Sapele Road in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State. The suspect, identified as Olamide Oyeniyi, was arrested on 12 September 2026 at Obaretin Community by troops conducting operations to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard major transportation routes within the area. Items recovered from the suspect include one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and eight rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition. Other items recovered are one Tecno mobile phone, two bags, one torchlight, one music box and assorted charms. Mohbad did not leave any will behind - Management tackles singer's father

The management of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has debunked claims made by his father that the singer left a will behind.

Mohbad’s dad, Joseph Aloba, had, in a recent interview, claimed that his son wrote a will before his death.

However, reacting in a statement shared via the late singer’s Instagram page on Monday, his management described the claim as “false and misleading.”

The statement partly read: “No members of Mohbad’s management or his Lawyer have communicated the existence of a will or any such thumb-printed document (as has recently been FALSELY reported) to any member of the family or the public.

”We would like to state with certainty that if any such document did exist, it would have been duly registered with the Probate Registry. We therefore plead with everyone to refrain from sharing false and misleading statements like this.”

The management noted that “All accounts owned and controlled by Imole during his lifetime were immediately put on a Post No Debit order on the 12th of September, 2023. This order remains valid till date.”

The management added that the accounts “will be properly handed over to the family upon resolution of the internal dispute”.
