 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. Mohbad did not leave any will behind - Management tackles singer's father

The management of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has debunked claims made by his father that the singer left a will behind.

Mohbad’s dad, Joseph Aloba, had, in a recent interview, claimed that his son wrote a will before his death.

However, reacting in a statement shared via the late singer’s Instagram page on Monday, his management described the claim as “false and misleading.”

The statement partly read: “No members of Mohbad’s management or his Lawyer have communicated the existence of a will or any such thumb-printed document (as has recently been FALSELY reported) to any member of the family or the public.

”We would like to state with certainty that if any such document did exist, it would have been duly registered with the Probate Registry. We therefore plead with everyone to refrain from sharing false and misleading statements like this.”

The management noted that “All accounts owned and controlled by Imole during his lifetime were immediately put on a Post No Debit order on the 12th of September, 2023. This order remains valid till date.”

The management added that the accounts “will be properly handed over to the family upon resolution of the internal dispute”.
