 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here.  IMPROVED WELFARE: DR ARASE, RETIRED SENIOR OFFICERS VISIT IGP, DISCUSS RENEWED WELFARE PACKAGE, TRAINING CURRICULUM.



As IGP Harps on Reorientation Programmes for Police Officers. 


The former Inspector-General of Police and present Chairman, Police Service Commission, Dr. Solomon Arase, today 6th February, 2024, led a team of retired Senior Police Officers under the aegis of the Police Veterans' Foundation, a new foundation which will be launched on the 5th of March, 2024 in Abuja, paid a courtesy visit to the office of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM.


The team comprised the President, Association of Retired Police Officers (ARPON), DIG Mohammed Aminu Yesufu (Rtd.) who was in charge of Planning and Infotech (F Department) as it then was; CP Isah Grema (Rtd.) amongst others. 


The short meeting in the office of the IGP centred on the plans of the foundation to assist in the areas of facilitating improved welfare for both serving and retired Police officers, partnering with the police on reviewing training manuals and curriculum across board, supporting the police by volunteering as instructors in the various colleges and training schools, etc.


The IGP while reacting, appreciated the group and promised to key into the plans of the Police Veteran's Foundation as such will go a long way to standardize the operating procedures of the Force.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
