FOUL PLAY SUSPECTED IN DISAPPEARANCE OF TWO OKLAHOMA WOMEN. (PHOTO).

Foul play suspected in disappearance of two Oklahoma women.

27-year-old Veronica Butler and 39-year-old Jillian Kelly went missing while driving to pick up Butler's children on a short 16 mile trip. The vehicle they were traveling in was found abandoned 3 miles short of their destination. The car they were traveling in was found abandoned near highway 95 in rural Texas County. Police now say based on information obtained from the vehicle there is sufficient evidence to indicate foul play.

Now more information has been released on where they were heading and why. Jillian was riding with Veronica to pick up her children, a 6-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son from their father's family in Eva, Oklahoma.

The purpose of the trip was to celebrate her daughter's birthday. Veronica was in a bitter custody battle with the father of her children and his family. Her friend Jillian had traveled along for support.

Reports indicate the father of the children, Wrangler Cole Rickman, was in court ordered rehab at the time of the women's disappearance.  Police have reported no arrests have been made and there are no suspects at this time.

Hunter McKee of Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation had this to say, "As of right now, we're unsure where these women are or what happened to them."
