The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Lead British International School in Abuja has taken the unprecedented step of temporarily shutting down for three days following a disturbing incident of bullying captured in a viral video on the school premises.


The decision to close the school was announced during a press briefing attended by concerned parents on Tuesday.


The move comes in response to widespread outrage sparked by the circulating videos, which depicted a female student being subjected to physical and emotional abuse by her peers.


The footage, which circulated rapidly on social media platforms, showed the victim being repeatedly slapped by another female student in what appeared to be a distressing interrogation session.


The incident prompted swift condemnation from the public, with calls for immediate action to address the issue of bullying within the school community. Concerned parents and stakeholders voiced their concerns, demanding accountability and justice for the victim.


Abraham Ogunkambi, the Head of Lead British International School, issued a statement in response to the incident, expressing the school’s strong disapproval and commitment to addressing the matter promptly.


“The school management is treating this matter with the utmost seriousness,” Ogunkambi affirmed. He assured the public that an investigation into the incident has been launched to identify those responsible and take appropriate disciplinary action.


Furthermore, Ogunkambi stated that the school has reached out to the victim and her parents, offering necessary support and counseling services to help them cope with the emotional and psychological impact of the traumatic event.
