Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. TWO MEN ON A FISHING TRIP DISCOVERED AND RESCUED 38 DOGS IN SERIOUS TROUBLE. (PHOTO).

Two men on a fishing trip discovered and rescued 38 dogs in serious trouble.

Brad Carlisle and Bob Gist met for what was supposed to be a relaxing and fun day of fishing. Instead they saw an unbelievable sight once out on Grenada Lake in Mississippi.

As they made their way around the lake looking for the perfect fishing spot they noticed what appeared to be a pack of dogs treading water a long way from the shore.

The dogs were part of a fox hunt but instead they had chased a deer into the water. When Carlisle and Gist found them they were a mile from shore and were completely lost. Gist said the way their heads were in the water there was no way they could see the shore.

The two fishermen pulled their boat up to the pups and began loading them on. They loaded 27 dogs and returned them to shore before heading back out to rescue 11 more.

The grateful fox hunters offered to pay them however the duo refused the cash and were just happy to help. I hate to think of the terrible outcome had these two friends not decided to fish on that day.
