 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.  Northern Group faults, Kwankwnso, Kabir call for Tinubu's impeachment

The Northern Patriotic Agenda (NPA) has denounced the recent call by the former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the impeachment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's government. 


Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, the Leader of the Group, Dr. Agabi Emmanuel, described Kwankwaso's letter to NNPP members in the National Assembly as a desperate attempt to salvage his dwindling political influence and a threat to the government's stability.


Emmanuel urged law enforcement agencies to be vigilant and thwart Kwankwaso's sinister plots, which he believed is against government's stability and undermine democratic principles. 

He commended President Tinubu's commitment to inclusivity and progress, and criticized Governor Yusuf for neglecting his duties and engaging in political grandstanding.


The NPA advised Kwankwaso and Governor Yusuf to retrace their steps and strive for progressive leadership, warning that their actions could harm the nation and its citizens.
