Portable breaks down in tears and apologizes again for slapping preacher Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, broke down in tears as he issued yet another apology following a confrontation with a preacher outside his bar. The singer's apology, which is his second in a row, comes after gospel singer Testimony Jaga gave Portable a three-day ultimatum to apologize to the pastor or face unspecified consequences. The controversial street star explained that his reaction was due to a past traumatic experience involving his sister, who was once attacked by someone posing as a pastor. He added that he would not have slapped the preacher if he knew he was a "true man of God." However, in a recent video, Portable is seen on his knees crying profusely, as he expressed remorse for his actions against the preacher.  Dispatch rider killed in multiple crashes on Lekki-Epe expressway

A dispatch rider riding along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos State was killed in an accident following a multiple-vehicle collision on Friday.

This is just as two other persons sustained a fractured leg injury in the accident that occurred near the Chevron end of the expressway.

According to a statement on Friday by the Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Adebayo Taofiq, the accident involved a high-capacity bus with number plate AKD 952 XZ, a KIA RIO car with number plate BDG 853 DA and a motorcycle with number plate KTU 695 QK.

Narrating how the accident occurred, Taofiq stated that “preliminary investigation revealed that the high-capacity ‘T&M’ bus lost control due to brake failure while speeding, colliding with an oncoming ‘KIA RIO’ vehicle.

“The impact caused the KIA RIO to crash into a dispatch motorcycle in the opposite direction. The dispatch rider was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others sustained serious fractures and were rushed to a nearby hospital by a good samaritan who was driving along the expressway.”

He stressed that the General Manager of LASTMA, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, expressed his condolences to the deceased family while urging motorists to ensure their vehicles are in good condition before embarking on a road journey.

“The General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased and sympathised with the injured victims.

“He also urged motorists, particularly high-capacity bus drivers, to ensure their vehicles are in proper working condition, especially the braking system, before embarking on any journey within or outside the state,” Taofiq concluded.

Barely 24 hours after a truck rammed into a vehicle and a pedestrian in the Lafenwa area of Ogun State, killing four persons and injuring two, another truck has crushed two persons to death in the Papalanto area of the state.
