 The Traditional Ruler of Azumini Ndoki Ancient Kingdom in Ukwa East LGA, Abia State, HRM Eze Edward Eule (Onyenweali X), has dismissed claims by some of his subjects that he abandoned his throne following his temporary absence from the community. This is as six suspects have been arrested by the police in connection with the stealing of the community’s electricity transformer, thus plunging the community into darkness. The monarch, who is currently in the U.S, explained that his trip was to attend to personal and professional matters, adding that he will soon return to Nigeria. "I travelled to the United States of America in May 2025 to attend to some professional and personal matters. I am robustly healthy and fine, and I may soon conclude the task of my sojourn here", he said. Prof. Eule accused individuals he described as "mischief-makers operating under the guise of an Interim Ruling Council" of peddling falsehoods and propaganda about his alleged abdication. ...

 Man arrested with fresh human skull in Ibadan. 


A man identified only as Musa has been apprehended in the Amuloko area of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, for being in possession of a fresh human skull believed to belong to an unidentified woman. The incident unfolded when local residents, noticing Musa’s suspicious behaviour, confronted him and demanded to inspect the sack he was carrying. To their horror, they discovered a human skull inside.


The unsettling discovery was shared on social media, with a video of the suspect posted on X by Oyo Affairs. The caption read, “Man caught with a fresh human head earlier today in Amuloko area of Ibadan. He has been handed over to the police.” During initial questioning by the community, Musa reportedly confessed to being part of a syndicate involved in the sale of human body parts.


He has since been handed over to the police, who have launched a further investigation into the case, with a view to prosecuting those involved in the criminal operation.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
