 I Don’t Wish It On You – Genevieve Nnaji Knocks Trolls Age-shaming Her Veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has responded to social media trolls who made age-shaming comments about her. According to Naija News, a user on X reacted to Genevieve's post on April 3, 2025, stating that she couldn't escape aging and was getting older. The comment read, “You really cannot cheat nature. My fine wine is finally growing old.” In her reply, Genevieve pointed out that things could be worse; she could age significantly and eventually die if she were fortunate. She wrote, “It gets worse, bro. I’ll get so old I’ll die. If I’m lucky.” Another troll referred to her as “mummy,” suggesting she was old, but Genevieve quickly dismissed the comment, saying she wouldn’t wish old age on him.  Man arrested with fresh human skull in Ibadan. 


A man identified only as Musa has been apprehended in the Amuloko area of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, for being in possession of a fresh human skull believed to belong to an unidentified woman. The incident unfolded when local residents, noticing Musa’s suspicious behaviour, confronted him and demanded to inspect the sack he was carrying. To their horror, they discovered a human skull inside.


The unsettling discovery was shared on social media, with a video of the suspect posted on X by Oyo Affairs. The caption read, “Man caught with a fresh human head earlier today in Amuloko area of Ibadan. He has been handed over to the police.” During initial questioning by the community, Musa reportedly confessed to being part of a syndicate involved in the sale of human body parts.


He has since been handed over to the police, who have launched a further investigation into the case, with a view to prosecuting those involved in the criminal operation.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
