 Teacher's sexual assault of a learner uncovered in Tzaneen 


A 53-year-old Limpopo teacher, accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old Grade 7 learner at a school outside Tzaneen, is expected to apply for bail today in the Bolobedu Magistrate’s Court.


The teacher was arrested last week after the learner’s mother discovered explicit text messages on her daughter’s phone.


The mother alleges that the teacher gave the learner R50 in exchange for her silence.
