 FG reaffirms commitment to North-East inclusion in Agro-Industrial Project amid exclusion claims The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has dismissed concerns raised by the North-East Caucus of the National Assembly regarding the alleged exclusion of the region from the Federal Government's flagship agricultural initiative the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) program. The minister of agriculture and food security Sen. Abubakar Kyari made the clarification over the weekend while briefing the media. He noted that the North-East is not only included in the SAPZ program, but that several states from the region have already met the eligibility criteria for the second phase of the project. The response comes on the heels of public criticisms sparked by the recent groundbreaking ceremonies in Kaduna and Cross River states. SKYDIVING INSTRUCTOR DIED AND STUDENT HOSPITALIZED AFTER ENCOUNTERING DUST DEVILS. (PHOTO).

 Skydiving instructor loses her life and student hospitalized after encountering dust devils.


Beautiful 28-year-old Devrey Chase was conducting a routine instructional dive with a student in Perris, California on August 2. As the duo were mid-dive they came into contact with a dust devil which caused them to slam to the ground.


According to Devrey's husband Freddy, she was conducting her last dive of the day. When they were approximately 40 feet from the ground Devrey noticed a pair of dust devils. She was able to avoid the first one, but got caught in the second one which slammed her and her student to the ground.


Devrey was unconscious but breathing directly after the incident however she was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. Her student was also rushed to the hospital for treatment of injuries.  There is no report on the condition of the student at this time.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
