The Edo State House of Assembly has removed Hon. Natasha Osawaru Irobosa of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from her position as Minority Leader, marking a significant shift in the chamber’s leadership structure. The announcement, made on Monday, is part of a broader restructuring triggered by recent political defections. Hon. Charity Aiguobarueghian, also of the PDP, was similarly stripped of her role as Majority Leader. Meanwhile, Hon. Yekini Idaiye, another PDP lawmaker, lost his position as Chief Whip. Verydarkman criticized Pastor Fufeyin on social media for selling miracle water and soap, accusing him of exploiting followers with products claiming miracles.

This decision was prompted by social media activist Martins Otse Vincent, also known as Verydarkman, who publicly criticized the pastor, sparking extensive discussion and debate across various social media platforms.

Verydarkman, recognized for his candid opinions on numerous topics, utilized social media to confront Pastor Fufeyin regarding the commercialization of his miracle water and soap. In his posts, he accused the clergyman of taking advantage of his followers by marketing products that he claimed could perform miraculous feats. He even purchased the spiritual healing items and tested them on several individuals with disabilities, including those who are blind and deaf.

In response to the pressure from Verydarkman’s allegations, Prophet Jeremiah announced during a sermon to his congregation that he would halt the sale of these miracle products, which had been heavily advertised within his ministry.

He stated, “I want to make it clear for you tonight, the spiritual items are not for sale. Anybody selling the spiritual items I will lay curse them.”
