 TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE ALONG BENIN–SAPELE ROAD Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Operation WABAIZIGAN, have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a targeted operation along the Benin–Sapele Road in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State. The suspect, identified as Olamide Oyeniyi, was arrested on 12 September 2026 at Obaretin Community by troops conducting operations to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard major transportation routes within the area. Items recovered from the suspect include one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and eight rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition. Other items recovered are one Tecno mobile phone, two bags, one torchlight, one music box and assorted charms.  Adeniyi Johnson pens heartfelt note to senior colleague Dele Odule for intervening in his ongoing issue with AFRIMEK


Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson has penned a heartfelt note to his senior colleague, Dele Odule for intervening in his ongoing issue with AFRIMEK.


We reported two days back that The African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK), led by Femi Adebayo, had suspended Johnson indefinitely for gross misconduct and breach of the club’s constitution.


Reacting to the news on Sunday, Johnson expressed sadness that his honourable club made such a derogatory post about him. He stated that though he wasn’t bigger than the club, there had been Adeniyi Johnson before the club and the post they made about him could cause harm. He noted how such a post was detrimental to his name, his family and most importantly, his brand.


In his comment section, Joseph Momodu, Alesh Sanni, Bimpe Akintunde, and Bakare Zainab showed support for him as well as his fans.


Now taking to his Instagram page, Johnson appreciated Dele Odule as he praised him for being a father, teacher, mentor, listener and leader
