 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Bike Rider Killed, Taxi Set on Fire by Separatist Fighters 


Separatist fighters claiming to be members of the Fako Black Tar group have carried out a deadly attack on a bike rider in the Mile 16 Bolifamba area of Buea, South West region, on the morning of September 2, 2024.


Eyewitness accounts and video footage show a taxi on fire, with heavily armed men moving around the scene.


 A picture obtained by CNA reveals the lifeless body of the bike rider, who appears to have suffered fatal gunshot wounds.


This latest attack comes amid the ongoing "ghost town" protests, where Mondays have been declared as days of civil disobedience. 


Recent instructions from one of the separatist factions have specifically called for the burning of yellow taxis, further escalating the tension in the region.


The fate of the taxi driver involved in the incident remains unknown.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
