 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. ANAMBRA MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT INAUGURATES COMMITTEE ON DRIVING SCHOOLS STANDARDIZATION. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.


 Anambra Ministry of Transport Inaugurates Committee on Driving Schools Standardization

Mrs Patricia Igwebuike,  Anambra State Commissioner for Transport, had recently inaugurated the state Committee on Driving Schools Standardization Programme to standardize the activities of driving schools across the state.


Mrs Igwebuike said that all Driving Schools would operate to the same level, explaining that the regulation on the standardization of driving schools would be gazetted soon.


The Commissioner who would be the Chairman of the committee said that the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Engr Mike Obiekwe would act as the Chairman in her absence.


Members of the committee include the Chairman, Anambra State Internal Revenue Service, Dr Greg Ezilo, State Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC), Commander Joyce Alexander, Chief Vehicle Inspection Officer, MacDonald Achuam. 


Others are, Chairman, Driving Schools Association of Anambra State, Mr Augustine Ihezue and Sector Head of Training, Standard and Certification (FRSC), Georgina Umeke who would work as the Secretary.


The State Commander, FRSC, Corps Joyce Alexander commended the Commissioner for her determination to regularize the activities of driving schools even as she promised that the committee would work assiduously to achieve the desired results.
