This decision follows an earlier suspension announced on September 27, 2024. Historically, the Zaar Festival has been associated with incidents of conflict, resulting in attacks on individuals, damage to property, and disruption of public order. Consequently, the organizers of the festival, along with any individuals involved, are prohibited from conducting any related processions in Tafawa Balewa, Bogoro Local Government Area, or any other location, until a definitive court ruli

INDIAN WOMAN ALLEGEDLY KILLED HER HUSBAND, AFTER COMPLETING A FAST THAT WILL ELONGATE HER HUSBAND'S LIFE. (PHOTO).


 In a shocking turn of events in Uttar Pradesh, a woman allegedly killed her husband shortly after completing a Karwa Chauth fast intended to pray for his long life. Officials from the Kada Dham police station in Kaushambi district reported that 32-year-old Shailesh Kumar was poisoned by his wife, Savita, who suspected him of infidelity.


The incident took place in the Lal Bahadur Shastri Nagar area during an evening argument between Savita and Shailesh as she broke her fast. Shailesh’s brother, Akhilesh, stated that Savita had poisoned his brother’s food. Shailesh was taken to the hospital, where he recorded a video statement accusing Savita of poisoning him. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his condition.


Following the complaint, a case was registered against Savita under Section 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and Section 123 (poisoning) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, as stated by Sirathu Circle Officer Awadhesh Kumar Vishwakarma.


Kaushambi Superintendent of Police Brijesh Kumar Shrivastava confirmed, “The crime was reported from Ismailpur village. The woman allegedly poisoned her husband following a dispute. The man died during treatment. A case has been registered, the woman has been arrested, and the body has been sent for a post-mortem.”
