 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Kaduna Customs Mourns Over Demise of Assistant Comptroller Victor Tswanya


The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Kaduna Area Command mourns over the demise of Assistant Comptroller of Customs, Victor Tswanya, who passed away at his residence in Barnawa, Kaduna, after a brief illness.


The death of the senior officer was announced in an official statement released by the Command's Public Relations Officer, Superintendent Ridwan Yusuf, on 6 October 2024.


The statement reads, "It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Assistant Comptroller of Customs Victor Tswanya, who, until his demise, served as the Acting Deputy Comptroller in charge of Administration at the Kaduna Customs Area Command.


"Assistant Comptroller Tswanya, a dedicated officer, passed away peacefully at his Barnawa, Kaduna residence. His contributions to the Nigeria Customs Service, where he served for over three decades, will be deeply missed."


The statement further notes that the late senior officer was an indigene of Gbako Local Government Area of Niger State and was born on 7 November 1967. "He was enlisted into the Nigeria Customs Service on 1 January 1992 and was promoted to the rank of Assistant Comptroller on 1 January 2023."


The Customs Area Controller (CAC), Comptroller Tijani Abe, expressed deep sorrow over the loss, praising Tswanya as an exemplary officer whose contributions will be greatly missed.


The Command extended its condolences to Tswanya's family, praying for their strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
