 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration.  Why Humiliate Him Like This? – Seyi Law Queries EFCC Over Bobrisky’s Re-arrest


Nigerian comedian, Oluwaseyitan Aletile, also known as Seyi Law, has queried the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the arrest of Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky.


We reported that the EFCC confirmed the re-arrest of Bobrisky, in Lagos


The prominent crossdresser took to his Instagram account to inform his followers about the incident, claiming he had sustained injuries during a confrontation with the immigration officers.


Bobrisky accused the EFCC of being behind his detention.


He posted, “Nigerians help me, EFCC just arrested me. I’m badly injured.”


Sources suggest that his arrest was due to his lack of response to several invitations from the commission following his accusations against the EFCC.


He was removed from a KLM flight bound for Amsterdam at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos and subsequently detained by immigration officials late Thursday night while attempting to depart for London, United Kingdom.


In a post via X, Seyi tackled EFCC for allowing Bobrisky to get on the plane before re-arresting him and questioned if any court had issued a travel restriction to the crossdresser.
