Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London.  Why Humiliate Him Like This? – Seyi Law Queries EFCC Over Bobrisky’s Re-arrest

Nigerian comedian, Oluwaseyitan Aletile, also known as Seyi Law, has queried the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the arrest of Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky.

We reported that the EFCC confirmed the re-arrest of Bobrisky, in Lagos

The prominent crossdresser took to his Instagram account to inform his followers about the incident, claiming he had sustained injuries during a confrontation with the immigration officers.

Bobrisky accused the EFCC of being behind his detention.

He posted, “Nigerians help me, EFCC just arrested me. I’m badly injured.”

Sources suggest that his arrest was due to his lack of response to several invitations from the commission following his accusations against the EFCC.

He was removed from a KLM flight bound for Amsterdam at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos and subsequently detained by immigration officials late Thursday night while attempting to depart for London, United Kingdom.

In a post via X, Seyi tackled EFCC for allowing Bobrisky to get on the plane before re-arresting him and questioned if any court had issued a travel restriction to the crossdresser.
