 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. ‘I am obsessed with Jamaican culture’


Sultry Nigerian singer, Chidozie Ugochinyere aka Fave, has revealed that there’s an unknown side of her which is very obsessed with Jamaican culture.

Fave, whose collaboration with Davido on the hit song, ‘Kante,’ has further increased her fame worldwide, made this known in a recent interview.

In her words, “I’m aware I don’t have that many songs out there, so people have this certain idea of me:  “Fave is this sultry singer.” But there’s also a side of me that is very attached to dancehall; very obsessed with Jamaican culture. Everything is so raw, so real. I always unintentionally or subconsciously find myself creating things that have that foundation of Jamaica or dancehall or reggaeton.”

The 24-year-old singer further said though she began her career singing sombre music as a result of her musical influences, she doesn’t love to stay in one genre of music.

“I do not love to stay in one genre of music. I really love to explore. As I started to branch out in the industry, I started to tell myself to see what happens if I actually try to handle a different genre. I realised that I actually had a lot of potential in me for different genres of music. As of right now, it’s still very exciting for me. As much as I used to run away from Afrobeats before, because it was very uptempo, now I’m like, “Bring it all. You’re definitely getting to see a different side of me.”

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
