“Promotion comes from God,” Chiroma said. “By this decoration, you have achieved a milestone and created a vacancy for others to rise. This is not by your wisdom or strength but by the special grace of God, and for that, we must give thanks. This promotion is a call to higher service, requiring you to rededicate yourselves, rejuvenate your efforts, and strengthen the core values of the Nigeria Customs Service.”

The Commandant of the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College (NCCSC) Gwagwalada, Assistant Comptroller-General (ACG) Oluyomi Adebakin, who was recently appointed and decorated as Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs also commended the officers for their hard work and dedication.
