In an exclusive interview, she emphasized that the economic realities are evident to all Nigerians, except those with direct ties to the government.¹

Betty reaffirmed her commitment to her senatorial ambition, underscoring her determination to pursue her political goals. She also shared her personal experience as a breast cancer survivor, highlighting the importance of medical intervention over faith-based healing. Betty credited early detection for her survival, emphasizing that cancer should be viewed as a medical issue rather than a spiritual attack.

In a candid discussion about her late husband, former Governor Rotimi Akeredolu's battle with cancer, Betty criticized the reliance on spiritual interventions over medical treatment. She suggested that her husband's life could have been prolonged if he had prioritized medical treatment over spiritual practices.
