South Korean police seek arrest warrant for Hybe chairman Bang Si-Hyuk over alleged $100 million investor fraud scheme    South Korean police are seeking an arrest warrant for Bang Si-Hyuk, the billionaire music executive behind K-pop powerhouse Hybe and BTS, as part of an expanding investigation into allegations that he improperly benefited from an investor scheme involving more than $100 million. Authorities said they have asked prosecutors to pursue a court warrant for Bang’s arrest as they continue probing claims that he misled investors in 2019.  Oyo Government Demolishes Illegal Structures on Acquired Lands in Ibadan

The Oyo State Government has demolished illegal structures built on government-acquired lands in Ibadan. The demolition exercise took place in Podo, Top One Garden in Oluyole LGA, and Dizengoff in the Kolapo Ishola area.

Commissioner for Lands, Housing, and Urban Development, Williams Akin-Funmilayo, stated that the government would not tolerate any encroachment on its properties. He described those occupying the lands as “land grabbers” rather than legitimate owners or users.

Akin-Funmilayo further explained that prior to the demolition, the government had issued revocation notices to occupants and had properly gazetted the land.

“These lands belong to the Oyo State Government, and we will not allow any illegal occupation. Under Section 3, Subsection 1 of the Oyo State Real Property Protection Law, 2017, anyone found guilty of land grabbing faces up to 15 years imprisonment,” he stated.

He reiterated Governor Seyi Makinde’s commitment to enforcing a zero-tolerance policy on land grabbing and ensuring that state-owned assets serve the collective good of residents.
