 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Senator Natasha Disrupts Plenary Over Seat Reassignment


Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, disrupted Senate proceedings on Thursday after discovering that her seat had been changed without her consent.


During the plenary session, presided over by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Chief Whip Senator Mohammed Ali Monguno raised a point of order, highlighting Akpoti-Uduaghan’s seating position as improper.


Before Monguno could conclude, Akpoti-Uduaghan engaged in a heated exchange, prompting the Sergeant-at-Arms to intervene and attempt to escort her out. Despite Akpabio's efforts to restore order, she demanded an explanation for the change in her seating arrangement.


The situation was eventually brought under control after the public address system was shut down, and plenary resumed.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
