Falsely Accused Man to Sue State for R10 Million

Ditebogo Gololo, a 28-year-old man from Seshego, is planning to sue the state for R10 million after being falsely accused of raping and impregnating a 13-year-old girl. Gololo was arrested and spent two months in prison before DNA results proved he was not the father.

As a result of the wrongful accusation, he lost his job at KFC and suffered severe reputational damage. His lawyer has confirmed plans to take legal action, arguing that Gololo was unjustly arrested and imprisoned.

The case has sparked public outrage, with many questioning the legal system and suggesting that police acted under pressure without proper investigation.
