Peter Obi joins Archbishop Jude T. Omooo, in the foundation laying stone of sacred heart primary and secondary School in Ozubulu, promises monthly subvention until it is completed. Former Governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, has reaffirmed his commitment to education with the laying of the foundation stone for the Sacred Heart Primary and Secondary School in Ozubulu. Obi performed the ceremony alongside the Papal Nuncio to Nigeria, Archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo, describing the event as deeply fulfilling and a strong reminder of the transformative power of education in society. He announced his decision to support the school project through monthly financial subvention until its completion, noting that the gesture is aimed at ensuring the realization of the school’s vision, particularly for children who may lack access to quality education. According to Obi, meaningful development is anchored on shared responsibility and sustained commitment.  ...

A KANSAS CITY FIREFIGHTER HAS TRAGICALLY LOST HIS LIFE AFTER BEING STABBED IN THE HEART BY A PATIENT.(PHOTO).

A Kansas City Firefighter has tragically lost his life after being stabbed in the heart by a patient.

This truly heartbreaking incident occurred at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 27th. Emergency personnel were called to the report of a woman walking along the roadway in the area of 152 Highway and North Oak Traffic Way.

The first responders arrived on the scene and made contact with the patient, 38-year-old Shanetta Bossell. Eventually EMS was called to the scene to transport Bossell to St. Luke's Hospital. As the ambulance was on the way to the hospital, Bossell fatally stabbed 29-year-old Graham Hoffman in the chest. It has not been reported whether Bossell had become combative or if this was a surprise attack at this point.

The ambulance was stopped alongside 152 Highway near Platte Purchase Road and  Bossell was taken into custody after the homicide.

Graham Hoffman was transported to North Kansas City Hospital. Sadly, the knife had pierced Hoffman's heart and he succumbed to his injuries. He is remembered as a helpful and very kind young man.

Kansas City Mayor Quintin Lucas released a statement on X where he condemned Bossell's actions saying she will face charges matching her grievous actions.

Shanetta Bossell  has been charged with murder and remains in jail on a $1 million dollar bail. She could receive life in prison if found guilty.

Shockingly, Bossell was out of jail on a $10,000 bond for only one day at the time of Graham's murder. She had been arrested on Wednesday April 23rd and charged with assault and resisting arrest. Those charges came after Bossell viciously bit a Platte City Police officer after he confronted her for trying to enter his personal car and other nearby cars. The officer attempted to detain Bossell but a serious struggle ensued. Bossell fought with the officer who was still in his uniform. In the struggle, she tried to grab his police issued knife. The officer said as he reached for his radio, she bit his left arm so hard he feared she was going to take a chunk out.

Bossell could face 11 years in prison for the attack on Wednesday. Wednesday and Sunday were two different attacks.

Our thoughts are with Graham Hoffman's family, friends, and his entire community.
