 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Chinese National in Viral Video Denies Bribery, Apologises for Misunderstanding


A Chinese national seen in a viral video interacting with Nigerian Mobile Police (MOPOL) officers in Kaduna has denied allegations of bribery, stating the encounter was misinterpreted.


In a statement issued by Mr. Jiang, the Chinese delegation clarified that no bribe was offered or requested, describing the incident as a goodwill gesture in appreciation of the officers' professionalism.


The statement emphasized that the exchange, which was openly captured, stemmed from a cultural tradition of expressing gratitude and was not intended as a payoff.


The delegation apologized for the public misunderstanding and reaffirmed their commitment to Nigeria, requesting continued security support for their operations.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
