 YOBE STATE GOVERNMENT APPROVES ENROLLMENT OF RETIREES INTO THE STATES HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT  Yobe state government has approved the enrollment of the state and local government retirees into the state  contributory  Healthcare Management Agency (YSCHMA) social equity programme, marking a significant milestone in the state's effort to strengthen social protection and expand access to quality healthcare .  Chinese National in Viral Video Denies Bribery, Apologises for Misunderstanding


A Chinese national seen in a viral video interacting with Nigerian Mobile Police (MOPOL) officers in Kaduna has denied allegations of bribery, stating the encounter was misinterpreted.


In a statement issued by Mr. Jiang, the Chinese delegation clarified that no bribe was offered or requested, describing the incident as a goodwill gesture in appreciation of the officers' professionalism.


The statement emphasized that the exchange, which was openly captured, stemmed from a cultural tradition of expressing gratitude and was not intended as a payoff.


The delegation apologized for the public misunderstanding and reaffirmed their commitment to Nigeria, requesting continued security support for their operations.
