 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Grief as 11 Victims of Suspected Herdsmen Attack Buried in Benue


Tears flowed in Otobi Akpa, Benue State, on Sunday as 11 victims of the April 15 suspected herdsmen attack were laid to rest in a mass burial.


The community, overwhelmed with grief, described the tragedy as unprecedented in Akpa’s history. Families who lost multiple members struggled with the trauma, as the arrival of the white caskets plunged mourners into wailing.


Security operatives at the burial were visibly moved.


Community leader, Emaikwu Ode, lamented the rising violence, recalling peaceful coexistence with Fulani herders in the past. He warned that continued attacks could spark wider conflict if not addressed.


Ode also disclosed that some residents remain missing following the attack. Of the 15 victims killed, four non-indigenes were buried in their hometowns.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
