 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. Sultan of Sokoto Declares April 29 as First Day of Zulki’ida 1446AH


The Sultan of Sokoto and President of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), His Eminence Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, CFR, has declared Tuesday, April 29, 2025, as the first day of Zulki’ida 1446AH.


This announcement was made in a statement by Professor Sambo Wali Junaidu, Wazirin Sokoto and Chairman of the Sultanate Council’s Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs.


According to the statement, no credible reports of the new moon’s sighting were received across Nigeria on Sunday, April 27, leading to the completion of Shawwal with 30 days, in accordance with Islamic tradition.


The Sultan urged Muslims to continue praying for peace, unity, and national progress while emphasizing the importance of compassion, tolerance, and respect.


The Sultanate Council also appreciated the efforts of the National Moon Sighting Committees and advised Muslims to rely only on official announcements for religious guidance.


The Council prayed for Allah’s blessings on the new month and for continued peace and prosperity across the nation.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
