BLORD IS OUT FROM KUJE PRISON AFTER PERFECTING ALL HIS BAIL CONDITIONS.(PHOTO).

So Linus Williams (Blord) has been released from Kuje prison after fulfilling his bail conditions, finally, freedom after a few weeks in custody. However, here’s the current position of his case:  He is still expected to show up and stand his trial.  If he fails to appear in court even for one day, his bail can be revoked and a bench warrant may be issued against him, meaning a return to Kuje. If the prosecution cannot prove the charges against him, he will be discharged and acquitted. If the prosecution proves the charges, he may be sentenced and sent back to Kuje. I think he should seek a peaceful resolution to the case. Congrats to him on his freedom for now.

BENUE STATE: YOUTHS STORMED WURUKUM ROUNDABOUT, PROTEST AGAINST HERDSMEN MASSACRE

15th June, 2025

According to Punch Newspapers, Despite the heavy surveillance in place in Makurdi, the capital city of Benue State, youths stormed the popular Wurukum area on Sunday, protesting the continued killings across various communities in the state. The protest, which began in the early hours, saw dozens of young people carrying placards and chanting songs to express their anger and frustration over the persistent violence that has claimed numerous lives in recent weeks.

The demonstrators, mostly dressed in black, converged at the Wurukum roundabout and blocked parts of the road, causing traffic gridlock and drawing the attention of passersby and security forces. “We are tired of burying our brothers and sisters every week,” said one of the protesters, who identified himself as Tersoo. “We are not safe in our homes, and we will not keep quiet while the killings continue.”

Despite the presence of security operatives in different parts of the city, the youths insisted on continuing their protest peacefully, demanding urgent government action. “What is the point of all this surveillance if it cannot stop the bloodshed?” asked a female protester. “The government should protect us, not watch us die.”

Residents accused armed herdsmen of being behind the attacks, a claim that has continued to fuel tensions in the region. “Every time we cry out, they say they’re investigating,” another youth added. “How many more need to die before something is done?”

The protesters, however, vowed to continue their demonstrations in Makurdi and beyond until concrete steps are taken to end the killings and restore peace to the state.
