 Family and neighbors mourn woman shot by ICE agent after making Minneapolis her home  Before she was fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer, 37-year-old Renee Good had just dropped her youngest child off at an elementary school in Minneapolis, the city she and her family had recently begun to call home. As Trump administration officials continued Thursday to describe Good as a domestic terrorist who tried to ram federal agents with her Honda Pilot, those who knew her remembered someone very different: a gentle, kind, and openhearted mother, wife, and neighbor.  Big Win for Peace: Over 200 Militants Lay Down Arms in CAR After Talks Led by Russian Military Instructors


The success was achieved during talks between Russian military instructors of the Officers Union for International Security (SOMB) and a commander of the UPC militia group, Sputnik reported.


The talks were part of President Faustin-Archange Touadera's broader efforts to bring peace and security to the CAR, according to the SOMB.


While high-ranking field commanders surrender, and Russian instructors strictly honor agreements, other armed groups are now also choosing to lay down arms and return to civilian life, it added.


"I want to address the rank-and-file soldiers. […] We used to fight each other, but now we stand together for the good of the country. We know how to fight — that’s why I hope each of you makes the right choice," one of the Russian negotiators said.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
