‘I’ll turn off the mic’ — Remi Tinubu reins in Adeleke’s singing at Ooni’s anniversary First Lady Oluremi Tinubu cautioned Ademola Adeleke, the Osun state governor, for prolonged singing during his remarks at the 10th coronation anniversary celebration of Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife. The moment, captured in a now-viral video, occurred as the governor mounted the podium on Sunday to pay tribute to the monarch and to congratulate the Remi on her newly bestowed chieftaincy title, Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile Oodua. Rather than proceed immediately with his formal message, Adeleke, popularly known as the “Dancing Governor” for his spirited public appearances, burst into a short musical chant, drawing laughter from parts of the audience. Remi, who had moments earlier received her traditional title from the Ooni, walked towards the podium, gestured lightly to the governor, and whispered to him to proceed with his statement. “Go ahead,” she was heard saying, in an attempt to steer the ev...

NICOLA PELTZ'S FAMILY HAS ACCUSED DAVID AND VICTORIA BECKHAM OF BEING "TIGHT" WITH THEIR FINANCES WHEN IT COMES TO SUPPORTING THEIR ELDEST SON BROOKLYN. (PHOTO).

The ongoing Beckham family saga has taken another dramatic turn, with new allegations emerging about money, property ownership, and parenting philosophies that could rival any soap opera storyline.

According to recent reports, Nicola Peltz's family has accused David and Victoria Beckham of being "tight" with their finances when it comes to supporting their eldest son Brooklyn. The controversy centers around the couple's recent £11 million Hollywood mansion purchase, which sources claim was primarily funded by Nicola's trust fund rather than the Beckham family wealth.

The Daily Mail reports that Nelson Peltz, Nicola's billionaire father worth $1.6 billion, had to sign off on releasing funds from his daughter's trust fund to purchase the property. This has apparently led to accusations that the Beckhams aren't adequately providing for Brooklyn, with sources suggesting the family "cuts their children off financially" when they turn 18.

However, friends of the Beckham family defend their approach, explaining that David and Victoria, who came from working-class backgrounds, believe in teaching their children the value of money rather than simply handing them millions. They reportedly will always support Brooklyn when needed but refuse to needlessly spoil him.

This financial dispute adds another layer to the already strained relationship between Brooklyn and his parents. The young couple notably missed all five of David's 50th birthday celebrations and Brooklyn failed to publicly acknowledge his father's recent knighthood.

The situation highlights the complex dynamics that can arise when families of vastly different financial philosophies come together through marriage. Do you think parents should financially support their adult children, or is it important to let them make their own way?
