PEDRO PASCAL, REVEALED THAT HE SERIOUSLY CONSIDERED QUITTING ACTING TO BECOME A NURSE DURING HIS STRUGGLING YEARS.(PHOTO).

Pedro Pascal's journey to stardom is a powerful reminder that success doesn't always come on our timeline.

The beloved Last of Us and Mandalorian actor recently revealed that he seriously considered quitting acting to become a nurse during his struggling years. "In my 30s I was supposed to have a career," Pascal said. "Past 29 without a career meant that it was over, definitely."

His older sister Javiera Balmaceda (now a producer at Amazon Studios) had to step in multiple times to stop him from giving up. "When Pedro would say, 'I'm going to nursing school' or 'I'm going to be a theater teacher,' it was just like 'No, no, no, no! You're too good!'" she recalled.

Pascal's friend Sarah Paulson even helped financially support him during those difficult years, sometimes giving him her per diem so he could eat.

Now at 50, Pascal is finally experiencing the career he always dreamed of, proving that it's never too late for your breakthrough moment.

What career change have you considered during tough times?
